Long Handled Scuffle Weeder
Hand built by Homesteading Iron
If you are looking for a weeder that will make short work of those pesky weeds and grasses, be sure to consider this hand made forged scuffle weeder. It's extra long handle is perfect for taller folks like me and the diamond patter cutting head allows you to get in close to your plants to chop off the larger weeds and/or uproot the smaller ones. A definite must have in my garden tool shed.
Their hand made garden trowels are superior quality and function as well.
You can't go wrong by ordering a Homesteading Iron product.
Olwes Miaken's Creatures: Sourdough - Creation, Caretaking, Baking
I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to take a deep dive into sourdough. It is well written and Diana does a great job of making it easy to follow. It will definitely open the world of sourdough for you. I will be trying some of the recipes contained within its 100 pages, that's for sure.
As the author writes about her book in her blog (click photo to left)..."It’s all about sourdough (what a surprise ) and features about 20 different creatures. How they are spawned, how they work, what they do best. And every single one comes with recipes.
There’s also a troubleshooting section offering sourdough first aid, methods to influence the sourness, recipes for using up the discards, and so much more."
